Yeah it is, a very good one too. We can also do stress analysis on it too.

Good, I started drawing the whole plane as one to get the dimesnsions down for sure and do a stress analysis on the whole thing, then once I'm done with that, I will start an assembly drawing of it; drawing each individual part and with the framework and insides too.

Rgr. I have solidworks and Catia here at Riddle, so when you are done, pop them over here and I will take a look at it.

Are they compatible? The filenames are: .ipt for parts; .iam for assembly; and .idw for documentation.

I think so. If not, I will DL a converter or ask my prof if he has one. Riddle has everything, they ought to be abloe to read other folks' designs

Yeah, I never thought of that. Logically, you'd be able to read it one way or another.

Well, 2 cameras, a guidance system, possibly RCATS, and an L'per, there might be something else I'm missing though.

I think Hogue wants like model numbers and stuff. Also, your forgetting the practice beacon. Are you actually planning on trying to get an l'per on V1? I thought you were waiting until V2. Oh well, whatever you think you can do!

Okay practice beacon instead of L'per, that's what I meant...whby model numbers do you mean the manufacturer's model numbers? If so, I'll post them, but let me find them first.

I'm not saying it HAS to be a prac beac intead of an l'per. Hogue told me a good idea earlier, that we would make it interchangable. If you are looking for a target with an ELT, but on the L'per. If you're target doesn't have an ELT, drop them a beacon!

Yeah, I thouht it was a good idea too, but I forgot about it when I posted the list, that's why I said L'per instead of beacon.

Almost there....the breakaway wings are hard to do, basically because I can't decide how to do it....I think I'll go with rubber bands and velcro.
